From Our Pastor:

Finally, brothers and sisters, farewell. Put things in order, listen to my appeal, agree with one another, live in peace; and the God of love and peace will be with you. - 2 Corinthians 13:11

Dear Friends of Union,

Hard to believe this is my last newsletter letter to all of you.  These past five years have been wonderful and we have done marvelous things.  I praise God for all of you and your willingness to serve the Lord.

As I look back I can’t help but think of all the good things that have happened in the time that I’ve been honored to be in your presence.  Rally Day, Bluegrass BBQ, Youth Sundays, countless breakfasts, lunches, and dinners have filled the heart as well as the stomach.  A new addition to our building, Fundraisers and Capital Campaigns, Mission Trips and Shower Trailers, the list goes on.  We have done great things and I believe Union Church will continue to do great things for the glory of God.

Please help me to celebrate the legacy and happy memories of Union Church during the worship service and at a farewell reception on Sunday, February 7th.  I sure do look forward to parting from my fine church family with joy and good wishes that day.

Warmest regards and many blessings to all of you.

I remain,

Rev. Dr. Joan C. Martin
